Centenary Organ Recital Programme
To mark the 100th anniversary of the completion of the Harrison and Harrison Organ at St John’s is presenting a series of three lunchtime organ recitals this Autumn. The final recital for 09 will be held on Saturday 28th November.
12.30 noon Saturday 28th November: Richard Leach (Assistant music director Worksop College (ex organ scholar St John’s; Pembroke College, Oxford; Canterbury Cathedral)

Winter Market, 10am 5th December
Enjoy a traditional christmas market with stalls selling everything from home made cakes, toys, books and household items. Have a chance to win on the chocolate tomobola or try your hand in the raffle. Refreshments served in the Church Hall.
Christmas concert, 7.30pm 21st December
Musica Johannis, an 8 piece octet is joined by Gateshead's swing jazz band - Paraffernalia. Tickets on the door, £7.50 (£5 concessions).
